Welcome to NAMI Midland County, MichiganNAMI of Midland County is an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. We are a nonprofit organization focused on supporting and empowering individuals living with mental illness and their families. We are committed to fighting against stigma and facilitating access to resources for everyone affected by mental illness.
We hold regular monthly support meetings on the second Monday of each month at 7 pm. Meetings are held in the main conference rooms of Community Mental Health for Central Michigan, 218 Fast Ice Drive, Midland MI 48642. Meetings usually run for 90 minutes. Meetings are being held in-person. |
Monthly Support Meetings |
Our support meetings are divided into two sections held at the same time in separate rooms: Peer Connection Support Group for individuals living with mental illness and Family Support Group for family members. This encourages privacy and ensures that all those attending the meetings are surrounded by people who have lived through similar experiences and can relate. Knowing you are not alone, that there are people who understand what you have lived through, can be incredibly empowering.
