Welcome to NAMI Midland County We extend a special welcome to all those whose lives or whose loved ones' lives have been affected by mental illness. Our organization seeks to provide a community of support, self-education, outreach, and advocacy for these individuals. The Delta College Mental Health Fair is taking place April 15th-16th from 10am - 2pm. Over the two days there will be approximately 40 organizations in attendance representing local mental health resources. Tables will be set up just outside the cafeteria. Midland County NAMI will be there and we'd love to have the chance to talk to you about our support group meetings. At NAMI Midland two distinct groups are available to provide support on a monthly basis. The meetings take place at the same time but in separate rooms. The first is the NAMI Family Support Group which is a peer led support group for any adult (18+) who are family or friends of a loved one who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. The second is NAMI Connection which is a peer-led support group for adults (18+) living with symptoms of a mental health condition. For additional information, please reach out via phone or text at (989) 948-3273, or by emailing [email protected]. Your mental well-being matters to us and we look forward to fostering a supportive community in the Midland and surrounding counties and communities. If you are interested in learning more about us or about mental health brain disorders and the effects they have on individuals and families, we offer a Family-to- Family education course. These meetings take place every Tuesday for 8 weeks. There is a course currently taking place that started March 4 - April 22, 2025 with classes meeting on Zoom. It may not be too late to join this class, you can call (989) 948-3273 and talk to Dan Corbat.
